A moment just for you!

Put on some quiet music, sit down and take a deep breath.

In these days of busyness, and sweltering heat, we need to think calm and cool. I took these pics yesterday as I was riding my bike, and thought they were the epitome of relaxing ease.

Look at that cow. She couldn't care less. Notice the hay bales. Work is done, the day is sunny and pleasant. What more is there to do?
Consider these for a moment.

In the bridge pic, the water isn't going anywhere. So why are you hurrying? In the beach picture, the whole area suggests you take a deep breath and relax.

So there you have it. This relaxing moment brought to you by Barbara Phinney.

now this is lovely, soothing, and most relaxing. What a view. Ah that fresh country air. I can just smell it. :)

I needed that too, what with relatives in the hospital (they're doing fine), new contacts that won't go in (touching your own eyeball HAS to be an unnatural act), an email backlog that seems to grow daily, books that want written, and ... I enjoyed your pictures :)

Barb a good idea. Sometimes we work so hard and trying to get ourselves noticed that we don't take time to relax. Defiantly needed to do that today

Very hard for me to relax. when I die, they will say, "she was always doing something."

Ruth, my father in laws always says, I'll rest when I die. And I know one writer up here in Canada who couldn't keep still if her life depended on it.
But I'm glad you stopped by to say hello.
Thank you Pat and Maureen. I love those pictures, too.
