I only managed to get 684 words done this morning, before heading out to church and a scenic train ride.
But I was fortunate. Most of the scene today, (one I skipped over several unwritten ones to get to) had been drafted on paper a while ago.
In this scene, my hero recounts a double dose of humiliation that he received in high school.
So I just channeled my awkward teen years and let it go.
1467 words done, for a total of over 38,000!
